Herbst Title Sequence by Clemens Wirth

FH Salzburg University film graduate Clemens Wirth’s macro photography and compositional sensibilities for motion typography are beautifully executed in the titling sequence for an upcoming alumni European World War I drama, Herbst. Wirth’s cinematic and meticulous eye for detail are focused on miniature subjects, in small-scaled and richly textured handmade sets. The vibrance and filmic movements in the scenes are complemented with the illustrative Chinese inking main title introduction, altogether making a poetic and visually stunning sequence. It’s worth a look.
