The Gentleman’s Racer

Mikael Lugnegard of Swedish based design firm Lugnegard Studio says “design is his passion” going on to explain that it “gets his blood pumping!” The strong words behind Lugnegard’s description of his love for design is directly translated into his latest project called the Gentleman’s Racer concept car for Audi. The vehicle is sleek yet aggressive by nature taking 1940′s inspiration from timeless hot rod classics. The Gentleman’s Racer holds true to its inspirations by having a large chassis, low cab, and an overly proportioned grill which adds an element of intimidation to the vehicle. Lugnegard wanted the Racer to be featured in two tones; silver, and creamy white, both colors add a touch of luxuriousness to it’s masculine features.
